DANDA Events

Future Monthly Members’ Meetings for London Group Members: Kindly note that the due to DANDA as a National Charity having been wound up and the creation of the DANDA London Social Group, London Group Monthly Members’ Talks will remain suspended for the time being. Please check Website for next meeting - The next talk may be held in Spring 2014. DANDA London Social Group is the new name for the former National Charity – this name was approved by the Board of Trustees before the National Charity was dissolved in 2013.

As many Members are aware, the National Charity currently operating as DANDA is in the process of being closed down. A New Group, DANDA London, will be created, to continue the aims and objectives of the existing charity organisation. Although there is a name change, Members (as well as those Members whose Membership has expired) from the existing National Charity are welcome to join or transfer to the new group.

As we are in a transitional period, some Members Events, such as London Members Talks and day trips have had to be suspended. However, the pub night social meetings (Young DANDA and the Main DANDA pub nights)  will continue. Day trips may resume in May 2014. Please check this page for further updates.

KINDLY NOTE THAT THE DANDA LONDON SOCIAL GROUP COMMITTEE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY UNSOCIAL OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR AT ANY EVENT, INCLUDING PUB NIGHTS OR VIA SOCIAL MEDIA - A WARNING WILL BE GIVEN AND IF IT CONTINUES, YOU MAY BE REQUESTED TO LEAVE. The Social Committee will have the power to contact the relevant Social Media platform and close down any pages it feels are unsuitable to continue – If the Social Media Platform contacts a Member of the Social Committee regarding a request to close a page down, the Social Committee will allow that request to be actioned, depending on the nature of the request – ALL MEMBERS HAVE BEEN WARNED NOW NOT TO ABUSE THEIR PRIVELIDGES ON THE VARIOUS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS OR THE LINKS WILL BE TERMINATED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.
