DANDA is a user-led charity which campaigns on behalf of Neurodiverse adults.DANDA covers all types of neuro-diversity, or specific learning differences, including dyspraxia, AD(H)D, Asperger’s Syndrome and dyslexia.
Following the great demand for the diagnosis of Dyspraxia, AD(H)D and Asperger’s in adults, we at DANDA have teamed up with two renowned psychologists, David Grant and Roland Ackord, to address this in a training workshop.
The Training workshop will cover the assessment of Neurodiversity (Specific Processing Differences) in adults, with particular reference to dyspraxia, AD(H)D and Asperger’s Syndrome. It is aimed mainly at psychologists who assess dyslexia, but who want to learn more about how to assess other over-lapping neuro-diverse conditions. The workshop will include case studies and discuss the use of the WAIS and other diagnostic options available to psychologists for assessment of these conditions.
David Grant will cover assessment of dyspraxia and AD(H)D in the morning.Roland Ackord will focus on the assessment of Asperger’s Syndrome in the afternoon.
We encourage you to book a place as early as practicable as spaces are limited. Any proceeds left after expenses will go to DANDA – Charity1101323
