BBC Radio 4 - Today Programme "Should stupid people be allowed to have children?"

"A politically incorrect question: should 'stupid' people be allowed
to have children? Helmuth Nyborg is the psychologist who has come up with this controversial research and Melanie Phillips is a columnist at the Daily Mail."
Ask to explain Nyborg stated "The number of children with learning disorders like Attention Deficit Disorder and behavioural disorders in general is increasing. You see also from the statistics that if you look at where these children come from, they do not come as much from highly educated families, they come from people that do not normally have too much education."
Melanie Phillips of the Daily Mail said "This is eugenics. It is a doctrine of selective breeding. It lead to these appalling monstrosities culminating in Hitler's programme of extermination of 'Mental Defectives' and so forth. It treats people not as human beings, and equates intelligence with moral worth."
