This page refers to all events organised by the London based group. They are open to all DANDA members whether London based or not. For more information about DANDA London Events only, e-mail Neil at neil@danda.org.uk. A new contact number for Events and General Enquiries will be provided shortly.

We will be launching a telephone line on 1st June 2013: 07722703805, which will be primarily for enquiries related to DANDA Activities, but can also be used for general enquiries related to non-DANDA Activities. Following the launch of the telephone line, all telephone enquiries from Members should be via this number only. The phone line is operated on a Virgin Mobile number and will be shared between various Members who will be answering the call. Therefore, if the call is diverted to voicemail, you will need to leave a voicemail message with the following information:
1) Your Name, contact number and where you are calling from – location & where appropriate company / charity name (please ensure that this is left clearly at the beginning of the message – call back number can be to a UK landline (beginning 01/02/03) or UK Mobile number ONLY)
2) A very brief message – reason for your call: e.g. enquiry about an event on [date]
3) Returning Call: When the best time would be to call back
Alternatively, you can text us & we will either call back or text you a reply, with the text message format as follows:
1) Your Name, contact number and where you are calling from – location & where appropriate company / charity name (please ensure that this is left clearly at the beginning of the message – call back number can be to a UK landline (beginning 01/02/03) or UK Mobile number ONLY)
2) A very brief message – reason for your text: e.g. enquiry about an event on [date]

For those Members who have a Virgin Mobile or Virgin Landline Number, the call or text will be either at a reduced rate or free (depending on how your mobile/landline package).
We will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible, however, kindly note that as this is managed by Members on a voluntary basis, please be patient with us if there is a delay in responding. You will not receive a response if you use the wrong contact details. After 145 metres, turn left in to the Quad Entrance. After 29 metres you will come to the central quad. After 16 metres, follow the central quad round to the right. After 28 metres you will come to the south quad. After 15 metres, turn right in to a path next to the wilkins building. After 18 metres, enter Wilkins Building - South Cloisters entrance on your left. Immediately turn right. Immediately go through a double door ahead and then turn right. Immediately turn left. Go through a double door. After 8 metres turn right into a lift. Take the lift to the second floor. Turn left out of the lift. Immediately go through a double door ahead and then turn right. Immediately Gustave Tuck LT should be straight ahead. Venue details for regular events: The Knights Templar Pub, 95 Chancery Lane, off Carey Street, nr Fleet Street, London WC2A 1DT. The nearest stations are Chancery Lane on the Central Line & Holborn on the Central & Piccadilly Lines. From Chancery Lane Station, use exit 4 out of station & continue towards Holborn Tube Station for about 5 minutes and turn left at the traffic lights (Cotswolds shop on left corner and Starbucks Coffee Shop on opposite side of High Holborn road, facing Chancery Lane itself), continue down for about three quarters of the road, the pub is on the right. From Holborn, turn right in to High Holborn and walk down towards Chancery Lane Station for approximately 10 minutes, turn right in to Chancery Lane & follow instructions above to the pub. University College London (UCL), 4-8 Ensleigh Gardens, London WC1H 0EG. The nearest tube stations are: Euston Square(Metropolitan, Circle and Hammersmith & City), Euston (Northern and Victoria), Warren Street (Northern and Victoria), Goodge Street (Northern), Russell Square (Piccadilly) and Kings Cross St Pancras (Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Victoria).
